Z best is z best rip off. You go in thinking you are buying a car then you find out its for lease. My car cost 10.000 dollars, when they finished my paper work the cost was 23, 000 dollars . Yes its true they charge a renting fee for they cars.O and when they say you pay 999.00 down its a lie after you pay it two weeks later they want half of your refund. Then when you try to give them they car back they want take it.I hope this will warn people about zbest rip off. And by the way you have to pay 300 every 2 weeks or they will shut your car down. And they dont cover any problems then the car lots dont even have people to check them. And they repair shop has all zbest tow up cars none runing they only patch you up untillit breaks down again.

Cosmo, here is my experience with Z Best Cars, on Shreveport Barksdale Highway.

Sales man: Charles (don't really care about blasting this fool)

Let me just say this first, Z Best cars is not your last reserve to buying a car!! I would rather shoot my self in the foot TWICE and walk to work with that bad foot!!
I walked into the dealership a few weeks ago since my credit was shot from years ago and I'm no longer considered a prime candidate to get approved for a good APR on a newer or new car. I was ok with this and expected high payments and interest rates, however I wasn't ready to be told that I'm a ticking time bomb etc....
First, 1000.00 dollars down will get you in a car, if I wanted a truck or an SUV it will be 1500.00 down.
Second, bring all your paperwork, check stubs, proof of address (but they don't tell you that you need to proof your 10 year passed living history)
Third, sales man lie, but these guys will go way above lieing and treating you like DIRT!!
The day I went to go sign paperwork, we haven't really picked out any cars as they have been really tight lipped about everything...I told them I needed something with good MPG and I like car X but I'm also interested in some other stuff. I ask can we test drive, he says ohh yeah of course. We pick out car X and start looking over it, pretty clean but extremely high miles 97k but baggers can't be choosers....so we go for a test drive. Now I've bought brand new cars in the passed and sales guys/girls will always take you onto highway, streets etc...this idiot has us drive around the "block" of the dealership in the back neighboorhood...why? You'll find out later if you keep reading my rambaling. We get back to the dealership, we tell Charles that the car is good and we're interested. He says it's going to take about 15 minutes to throw the numbers together, let me remind you that we were told 1000.00 down will get you in the car. We sit down to talk numbers, this is where the bull****-ing and lie-ing starts!!!

    1000.00 down today
    224.00 bi weekly x 78 payments
but another 1200.00 cash down in about 4 weeks and your first payment of 224.00 would kick in or due that day when your suppose to bring in the other 1200.00 dollars. So, I ask where is the other 1200.00 dollars coming from, he says "I told you I can get you in the car today with 1k down" so yes, technically he didn't lie but the catch 22 is the other 1200.00 at a later date. Then I'm being upsaled on the good old GAP insurance at 24.00 dollars on top of the 224.00 bi weekly payments which= 224.00+24.00 that comes to a cool 248.00 every two weeks which is 500 bucks rounding up every single month, which got me in trouble the last car I bought so why on earth would I dig my self into a bigger hole. I say no, not interested....he gets all upset and says he knew that this deal wasn't going to work and why did I waist his time....(his time??? wtf do you do for a living again? Ohh you sell cars...) I talk things over with my better half, and supprisingly agreed that we'll give it a GO even though it's nearly impossible to accomplish. We sign a few papers, and get a temp tag and agree to come back the next day since it's really late...and this was Friday.

Saturday morning, after not sleeping all night because you have that gut feeling but things have to get done your still doing the right thing by doing it wrong. I get up, have a huge fight with the wifey about the deal etc..... We agreed that I'll take the car to the local dodge dealer to get checked out since the Carfax report shows 19 outstanding records. I get my coffee and headed over to Hebert's Dodge, as I"m driving I realized that the car is not inspected since there is no sticker...(reminder this deal is not signed and delivered yet) the good ol'e check engine light comes. I get to the dealer and I grab the first guy I see (it was Mark Hebert owner of the damn dealership) and I start talking to him about the deal and what I wanted. He basicaly told me not to even think about that deal since he will try and work out a much better deal for me and the car from Z Best cars is just not worth it. I'm headed back to see Mr Charles. I get to the dealership and sit down with this scumm bag, I ask him about the engine light, Carfax records, Mr Hebert ran the Carfax for me (two accidents and two critical outstanding safey recalls on the car) as I'm telling him and asking questions he doesn't have the F*&^%ing decency to look me squar in the eye and just simply starts telling me this and that....but not even looking worried or concerned about the problems. He then has the balls to tell me that if I can come up with an additional 1500.00 on top of the 2200.00 he has the same model car with much less miles....and this is where I reach my boiling point and my ex millitary crazines kicks into high gear. Of course I'm thinking about ripping the man's adam's apple out but in reality I would never hurt another human unless it's necessary. I tell him no deal, he proceeds to tell me that I'm a "ticking time bomb" and he always had a "bad feeling" about me. I asked him to please refund the gas that I put into the car, since he let me take the car without any gas....he ripped up the paper in front of me and told me to go take a hike.

So this is my experience with Z Best cars, hope you enjoy and make a smart decision and stay away, if you decide to deal your a fool!!!!!!!!!!

PS: remember the test drive around the block, I found out from some online findings that they have an onboard computer which has the ability to shut the car down if your happen to be late with your payments. This same computer also governs the car to a cook 65mph and will not let go passed this speed!!

If you like to get a good deal on a real sub prime lander go see Hebert's Chrysler. Ask for Cameo or Mark Hebert and best of luck and god bless. They ended up getting a deal approved on a 2009 Ford Focus with 33k miles at 337.00 a month with GAP and bumper to bumper to 100k

Hey, My fiance' and I are currently in the same predicament we are young and starting off with little credit/bad credit because we have had a few bills in our name but have made some dumb mistakes. We are in the process of selling our car and planned on taking whatever we sold it for to ZBest cars and putting it down on a new car since they are advertising $500 down plus TT&L, Security Deposit and first month's payment and we were willing to pay all that so that we could drive off with a car as they claim. But now you have talked us out of it since we knew it was too good to be true but we are still in need of a car. So what im asking is do you know anywhere that we can go with about $2,000 to $2500 down and our bad credit and be able to get decent car with a reasonable note? I see you reccomended Heberts Chrysler but how much did you put down and did you get a deal because you knew someone?

Has anyone actually been able to return their vehicle? My boyfriend and I went up there this past Friday and signed the papers and paid the 500 down and he said once the buyers order was signed it was over with! We have payments that are 250 every week and then after 3 weeks they go down to 206... Which it seems like it isn't much, but we're just starting out and this will be our first vehicle together. Not only is it expensive, but we asked 3 times if they carried their own insurance that we could get from them and every time (note we asked 3 + times!!) they kept telling us yes! We do! And then after we pay the down payment he says oh yeah by the way, whose your insurance through so you can drive it off the lot? We asked several times bc we don't have a vehicle, why would we have insurance on something we don't have?! So, I know and have read on the lemon law which, it doesn't not state dealers in la don't have to give you 72 hours after signing the buyers order to void the contract! Anyone know a good way to have them agree to void or is it already taken our souls?! We would happy to void contract bc we now have a friend selling his advenger for the cost of our down payment!
